This guide outlines important considerations for supplying artwork to ensure smooth processing and high-quality printing for your orders at Tulipa Print. By following these guidelines, you can avoid delays and ensure your artwork meets our printing standards.

File Formats:

Your final artwork file should be exported to a print-ready format with the appropriate size, color mode, and bleed area. We accept the following file formats:

  • PDF
  • EPS
  • TIFF
  • JPEG

File Size:

The maximum file size for upload on our website is 1GB. Ensure your artwork file is within this limit and contains sufficient resolution for printing. If you encounter difficulties uploading your file, contact our Design Team for assistance.

PDFs:

We recommend supplying artwork as high-resolution PDF files (300dpi). Ensure the PDF settings are optimized for commercial printing, including proper resolution, compression settings, font embedding, and color profile (CMYK).

Illustrator:

When using Illustrator, include all embedded images and convert text to curves. Save the file as an EPS file.

Photoshop:

Set resolution to 300dpi when creating a new document and save the file as TIFF or JPEG.

Other File Formats:

If your artwork is in a format not listed above, save it as either EPS or JPEG.

Microsoft Documents:

We do not accept Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, or Works files for printing. If necessary, convert these files to a print-ready PDF using online conversion tools.

Color:

Ensure your artwork is in CMYK color mode to achieve accurate color reproduction in print. Avoid using RGB colors, as they will be converted to CMYK, potentially affecting color accuracy.

Trimming and Bleed:

Include a minimum 3mm bleed around your artwork to account for trimming variations. Ensure background colors or designs extend to the edge of the bleed area.

Multi-Page Products:

For multi-page documents, submit a single PDF file with pages in the desired print order. Alternatively, upload separate files with numbered prefixes indicating the print sequence.

Proofing:

Use our free online proofing tool to review and approve your artwork before printing. Thoroughly check the proof for accuracy, as you’ll be responsible for any errors once approved.

Contact Us:
